Georgie Sucks...Here's Why

Sums it up.

The University [sic] of Georgia is the scum of the earth. They are trash and they aren’t worth a damn thing to this world.

So here’s a list:
10 Reasons why UGAg sucks so bad

10. They think their degree is worth something. Seriously, move out of the state and see what your “degree” does for you.

9. They think they are an above average football team. C’mon please, you got blown out by Bama and Florida. They are the only 2 good teams you played in your conference. You struggled against Vanderbilt who got beat by Duke. You also got taken to the wire by Auburn who absolutely blows! Put together one complete game and then maybe we’ll talk.

8. Because St. Mark Richt is actually a giant douchebag. Sure, the man goes out on mission trips preaching to the natives of the South American jungle. All the while his players are out getting in fights beating their fellow students/administrators to a pulp. Bowden much?

7. Because that bark is the most retarded thing I’ve ever heard. I already know you’re an uneducated piece of trash. Do you really need to confirm my thoughts?

6. They won’t acknowledge our victories (1943,1944) over them during World War II because they claim all their players were fighting the war. But they’ll claim that MNC during the same time period (1942). Also note that GT's sensational Clint Castleberry was in the war... but instead of pissing and moaning about losing games, we simply venerate our student soldier.

5. Because there’s not a thing special about UGAg. “Between the Hedges?” pssh, the entire SEC has hedges. The damn mutt of a dog was copied off Yale University and the Georgie “G”? Taken from the Green Bay Packers.

4. Matt Stafford doesn't mind spooning... with men.

3. Their short list of 'traditions' - a chant that talks about why they are the worst fans in college football, a parade of players in front of the shallow end of the gene pool, and the greatest college football tradition of all time - spelling. Here's some spelling: D-U-M-B-A-S-S.

2. Because they like to hoot and holler about the current streak, but they forget the Tech still owns the streak record. In fact, Georgia flipped such a shit about finally beating us in 1957 that they put a no-name fullback in their hall of fame for scoring the only touchdown in that 7-0 victory.

1. Their mascot dies.

What's the Good Word? !

Monday NO CLASS Update 11/03/08

My class was cancelled today, so my weekend of near ecstasy was extended by a day.

Here we go...

OMGTTUWTFBBQ. Texas Tech = absolutely ridiculous. I don't know what else to say. They dominated the #1 team in the first half. Their offensive line, especially their center, were absolutely, well, dominant. Dominant.

The second half showed why Texas didn't deserve to leave the Top 5, but the Red Raiders were able to hold on and HOLY CRAP GRAHAM TO CRABTREE AAAAAAAAH! The Miles-like call of going for it when a tackle ends the game caused me to jump out of my chair and run around the tailgate like I was TTU's mascot. The fact that it happened a play after a near-interception made it all the sweeter. I really don't give a damn about either of these two teams (except I admire UT's all white uniforms, grrr), but my dearth of Big 12 football was remedied this past Saturday night. I only wish that could have been the championship game, and if UF wouldn't have bounced back like they did in the past three games, it very well may have been. Which brings me to my next point.

F*** YOU GEORGIA. THANK YOU FLORIDA. Georgia fans, let me try to explain to you something you may only be beginning to understand - that stunt your team pulled last year gives UF the right to run up the score for as long as either Richt or Meyer are coaching. Don't be surprised if it happens again next year - Meyer seems like a big enough asshole to do so. I hope you nadlicking, mouth-breathing, own poop eating mutts enjoyed watching Stafford, Moreno & Co. get cornholed aaaallll day long on Saturday. I hate you bastards, and I cannot wait for CPJ's legacy against you to begin.

We beat the FSU Seminoles, and I was there to see it. It was a rollercoaster of a game, and I really cannot come up with the words to describe it. I was listening to one of our greatest fans speaking to some of our star players later that night, and he said, "You guys did something that everyone has been waiting a loooooong time to see. That was really something special. Congratulations."

Only something so lacking in any kind of verbal frivolity can even begin to describe how Yellow Jackets everywhere feel. When Paul Johnson was hired, I began to hope it was the beginning of a new Golden Era at Georgia Tech. I'm beginning to think I was right. Go Jackets, To Hell with georgia!

Monday In-Class Update 10/27/08

Shit.

I've been out of commission for two weeks due to school, homecoming, and, ironically, football.

And now I get to talk about why we got dicked in the mouth on Saturday - it mainly sucks because we beat ourselves. Now, UVA played better than they have the entire season so far (from what I've seen at least). However, due to a combination of the classic Tech susceptibility to screens and other assorted out routes, a ridiculous number of uncalled holding penalties, and our... impotent o-line, we got worked in front of our Homecoming crowd.

Hey, Coach Johnson, everyone knows we need fans in the stands. No, there is no reason to not have a packed house for Homecoming. And yes, our team deserves better fans. However, you should probably save those kind of statements for weeks when you know your offensive line isn't going to lay an egg on Grant Field, or when we have a QB that has figured out how not to fumble in the opponent's red zone. I'll be there every week come Hell or high water (well, unless there is a wedding), but that was the most deflating scenario I can imagine save getting blown out 51-7 or some other terrible number.

For defense, as of right now, we lose to Georgia if they simply run the screen (seeing as they do it as well or better than anyone else in the nation) against us every play. Our line had almost no effective pass rush to speak of, and our linebackers looked utterly confused at any cross route, TE out route, or bubble screen that came their way. Not to mention that everyone apparently forgot how to tackle on the trip back from Clemson. John Bird was right, "what a debacle."

And that is all I have for negativity.

Good news - Morgan Burnett is the shit. He leads the nation in interceptions, and has more than our entire team did last year. He is quickly replacing any bad connotations we have with the number 1.

Splitting the season into thirds, we have gone 3-1 and 3-1. Despite the unsettling things I've seen against VT, Gardner-Webb, and UVA, I wholeheartedly believe we can pull off 3-1 again for the final 4 games. I have begun talking some mad crazy shit a certain UGA fan, keeping it concentrated to a single soul for now. On the season, I've lost years due to stressful games, my head is still spinning from this past weekend, but goddamn, I'm still high as a kite on our team. Which brings me to my final point...

Go Jackets, To Hell with georgia!
